This will work with any cell phone as long as you either have a MagSafe phone case or a case that you can attach the stick-on metal ring on your case.
Does my phone need to be MagSafe for this to work?
No, its not necessarily just about the phone and more about your case. Your case can be MagSafe compatible or just attach the included stick-on MagSafe metal ring. Works for both iPhones and Androids.
Is this just for cell phones?
Yes, the way the head attaches you can't easily add another type of video head. This arm is designed to be exclusively for cell phones.
